So I would like to wish all of Volnation a MERRY CHRISTMAS. 1703484445008.png

Your comments to me during the year make me so welcome even though I am so far away1703484633903.png . Trust old big Ben I believe that the Tennessee Volunteers are going to have a cracking good 2024 season, but one one thing that is non debatable is that the Vol fans are, as Tina Turner would say "Simply the best."

Merry Christmas to you & the lady, LV. Your posts are every informative & interesting. So what's up for your Boxing Day tomorrow? 🎅 🎅

Merry Christmas Feathersax to you and your family.

Tomorrow will consist of a) produce a set of accounts, then go to the gym and finally eat a bowl of lettuce for dinner, or b) sit on the sofa eat far too much chocolate, feast on a turkey dinner (similar to your thanksgiving) put a lovely nostalgic film such as Dambusters or Die Hard on the TV (but miss most of it due to falling asleep) then eat some more. So the question to you is, do you think I will do a) or b)?

London Vol: You should do (b); you only live once so enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Thinking of England brings back lots of memories & quite the education I received when stationed at RAF Bentwaters 1986-89. Used to go to London about 80 miles away, park just outside the city, then take the tubes into the city. Loved to shop at Petticoat Lane even though it was shoulder-to-shoulder crowded. So many things I could say, visiting the 800 yr old churches, castles, pheasants, driving for us on the left-side of the road (was very scary the first week), the red learner plates, playing snooker, sugar beet fields, car boot sales, definitely learning a new language (a flashlight vs a torch). Loved everything about my time there except the weather. Didn't take long to realize why lots of people took holidays to where it was warm. Used to drink ice cold tea here in Texas & didn't take long to figure out why you drink hot tea there. Used to ride the trains lots of places too, very efficient; when they said it was leaving at 9:08, at 9:09 you would be standing on the platform by yourself. LOL. Thanks for being a VOL fan from the UK & bring back some good memories. Stay warm!

Merry Christmas!

Why limit yourself to only 2 choices?

Me? I would put on a rerun of Last of the Summer Wine! Nashville Public TV carried it for several years (every night). Reran the whole thing several times. My wife and I watched time after time! Happy Holidays' from Savannah Tn.

Merry Christmas, London Vol. I haven’t been to your uniquely wonderful city in over twenty years. Miss grabbing lunch at Harrods and heading to Hyde Park for a peaceful picnic.
