A whole new (added) fanbase

So, after listening to one of my favorite VOLS shows, Volquest Mailbag, I had a thought based on the playoff expansion when it comes to attendance at games.
We know the big donors can afford ALL the extra games but let's put this into prespective, what regular fan can afford going to 6-7 home games, a first round home or away game and three more games as far away as the Rose bowl?
I'm sure VOLNATION will adapt but how many schools have 40-50 thousand patrons that could handle the price tag?

It will be a choice for me. I can't afford all the games and the time away from work it will take. I always go the bowl game so I typically can afford one.

I think at some point they need to rethink all this or the bigger games will be like the super bowl with most of those attending being celebrities that are there just to be there verses those who have followed the team all year long.

It will be mostly season ticket holders. I have already paid for the regular season tickets before the season, so I don't feel that as bad. I have section D row 52 so I could easily sell a couple of the out of conference games to pay for the playoffs, if I wanted. I use the bowl games kind of like vacations for the year. Columbus isn't that bad, go up Friday and come back Sunday, tickets were not that bad. The Rose bowl will be expensive, but I have never been there.

I agree. Go to 16 teams. Have the first two rounds at the home of the higher seed.

I think the travel is ridiculous, no other football playoff does it this way...None

Not necessary, just add 4 on campus games and
pick up using the 6 bowls. Just no byes first round. Stupid from the git go. Top 4 get lowest seeds not air first week. Might consider reseeding after 1st round.
