Regionalization concept that would realign teams in AAC, Conference USA, Sun Belt to be presented Monday
I know it's Saturday and this is more of a weekday discussion, but it looks like CUSA Presidents will meet Monday to discuss a plan that would organize the AAC, CUSA, and Sunbelt based on geography.
I really hope this happens, but it doesn't look like the AAC (their TV revenue is a bit more than other 2) or Sunbelt (think there is still some hard feelings over CUSA taking teams in previous rounds of realignment) would agree. It's a shame, because at this level having conferences that cover nearly have the continental US makes zero sense.
