They will be hard pressed to field an entire squad of UT grads. they will go after regional players from Memphis, vandy, MTSU etc...

Each Team will get their grads and extension schools. We have the state of TN and now extended KY. Any one out side a school will go into a free agent draft coming up.

The teams will use the same colors as the host school. I think they will use the same jersey. They want to keep the rivalry going.

If they use the same jerseys, I think that's a mistake. If I were UT, I wouldn't give up my brand to anybody -- even a bunch of second-rate former players. I like them using the colors, but I'd be more in favor of a different name and different jersey. C'mon, UT ... don't whore out the Power T!!

im betting the jerseys will just be generic orange with maybe a plain white helmet

I hope so. But they should take advantage of the opportunity and build their own brand. I mean, I'll try to get behind the team -- may even buy a t-shirt or two.

I think this is actually very exciting news.
It will be a college 'style' type Pro Sport.
Some reports say the Cheerleaders and Band from UT may play for them as well.
But who knows the full story yet.
All I know is this sounds really cool.

It had to take a lot of $$$ to convince UT to allow Neyland to be used for another football team.

Well the thing is to keep the rivals between schools. But also serve as a farm league.

Might just see Cooter, Tee Martin don't know if hes going to do it now. He likes coaching and teaching, and rumors of nfl.

I think I would like to see it kept up close to the schools. Like someone said its like the blues brothers "we're getting the band back together"

I have let go of the nfl for the past few years only keeping up it UT players. So to have them all in one place I think I can enjoy.

Haven't you ever wondered what it would be like to have this or that person together playing it might can happen now.

If it takes off it I can see it helping recruiting also.

Given Doug Dickey is one of the major forces behind this league, I hope it is a failure of epic proportions.
