The reality of the situation is that none of us from our televisions saw the entirety of what actually happened and certainly didn't hear everything that was said like the officials involved did. It's fair to wonder if it wasn't just an easier sell, and also to serve as a warning going forward about the tone of the game to just T up everyone directly involved, which was the four players who got the technical fouls assessed to them.
In the end, the only one who would have gotten one would have been Bradshaw if Tobe had just walked away. I understand why he didn't and don't necessarily disagree with his reaction as I think it set the tone that we have a team of grown men that argn't going to be punked or back down just because they're on the road. I'm perfectly fine with him getting his pound of flesh in that situation in that environment. His reaction and Gainey's barking goaded Dillingham into staying involved, which netted him his 3rd personal via the tech, and he picked up his 4th moments later. That was the biggest net positive for Tennessee in that entire situation. We wouldn't have necessarily missed Gainey or to a lesser extent, Awaka if they fouled out, but Dillingham was the sole reason UK was even in the game.
