his only school of interest is Tennessee and he is not listed as signed.

Does anyone here know the details or the possibility that he is still interested in the Vols but not able to sign yet?

Maybe I just missed any conclusive info on him...but I just noticed that looking at the list of 5 and 4 star WR's.

Look at the other threads on him, this is explained about 100 times.

He signed his LOI to UT as an early enrollee from JuCo but it turned out that he didn't have the grades to graduate early. That nullified his LOI and he is no longer interested in UT per his words.

Speaking of not qualifying, Risean Broussard would be looking lovely right about now...

Thank you...I remembered the part about signing and him not graduated yet...but just looking at Rivals it looked like they hadn't updated the part about him not being interested in UT.

What happened with him? It was my understanding that he signed LOI but has not reported. Will Tennessee release him if his intention is to be released from his LOI? I bet not to USC though.

No bashing this is a new era... the Dooley era where Tennessee fans are classy and show respect.

Thompkins has grade/qualifying issues. He did not want to be at UT without Kiffin and he gets out of his LOI because he doesn't qualify.

So what did ever happen to Kenbrall? I think he'd be great besides Ambles.

Per Rivals

When he committed to Tennessee, El Camino WR Kenbrell Thompkins (6-2, 190) looked to be the big-play receiver the Volunteers were looking to add to their lineup. However, when head coach Lane Kiffin decided to head west and take the same position with USC, the talented wideout decided to let it be known he was looking around again and Rocky Top isn't in his future plans...
