So if I hear what you are sayin, whomever is the most recent coach to bring home a Natty is who that street is named after? Might it be easier if we just named it:

Natty Way
Not that, I've got no time for Fulmer

When it happens (and it will) it's gotta be Tony Vitello "Drive", no?
Knoxville City Code:

All public streets running east and west shall be designated as "drive" or "avenue." All public streets running north and south shall be designated as "street" or "road." Dead-end public streets that cannot be extended shall be designated as "lane." The use of the designation of "boulevard" is subject to the approval of the planning commission when the road is designed with a median separating the lanes of traffic or the street serves as the entrance into the subdivision and has the appearance of a boulevard street. Private easements serving six (6) or more dwelling units shall be designated as "way."

Looks like they're gonna gave to get on with picking a street running east and west to re-name

Too soon, needs to be here a little longer, IMHO.
So it’s “too soon” for the best coach in UT baseball history? No. Fulmer has a street and only won 1 NC and 2 SEC Championships. If we’re gonna get baseball to where it needs to be in terms of talked about more, it needs to happen. Tony deserves a street.

Fulmer is a true VFL, both played and coached for the Vols. CTV is a great coach for sure, if he sticks around long enough, he may even get a statue as well as a street.

We can agree to disagree, IMO, it's still too soon.
