Abysmal showing against Kentucky once again.

I just can't figure out why Kentucky out-psychs our team and our coach everytime we play. There not that good.:dunno:

I actually saw JP's defender back up away from him and he was left open for the three. He didn't take it , so maybe Pearls put the red light on JP from outside . Rightfully so I would think .

Just a recap from this week...Kentucky beat us in Basketball, Women's Basketball, and Tennis.

By no means am I excusing our poor play , but does anyone think we are really getting jobbed by the striped shirts this year? I also wish Pearl would bench the 3 point shooters just to see what a game with our size would produce. Aside from a desperation shotclock running out shot, I would outlaw the 3's.

I'd call the officiating yesterday fairly even. In the Ole Miss game, we actually got the better end of it, and still got drilled.

Im not holding my breath. However if I had to bet on ONLY one thing... I would probably have bet that we screw up and beat you guys at Football... before our womens basketball team beat Pat Summitt. Just a hunch. What a wierd week.

Who did not see this one coming?...We play no D and let teams shoot over 50% from the field against us and we as always shoot in the lot to mid 30's...That alone is enough to let you know the outcome against any decent team...This team has NO character or fire and absolutely NO shooters...Wayne Chism is the best shooter we have...What about all of these people who said Scotty Hopson was one and done because he is the stuff...Sorry but I have not seen it...These kids are young yes I know that but, they are in no way a good basketball team...I really hope that Bruce can see the forest for the trees and go out and get a PURE shooter as we do not have that at all and possibly someone that can play D inside...I just hope we can still make the NIT

This team just keeps getting worse, I thought after our Georgetown win in the early part of the season we were on the up and up. Against Kentucky, again.

Chism, if you are going to shoot the 3 ... dont go 1/7.
Tyler Smith, seriously??? We thought you were a POTY candidate.
Hopson, you are the only bright spot to this game - Thank You.
Maze, go back to junior college, please.
Prince, very solid, add some assists and Ill take you anyday.

Bench:

Williams, If you would play like that every game we could bench chism! Dont start jacking up threes, It will hurt your pt as well as statistics - see wayne for more info.

Rest of team - you will mesh in time. Dont follow some of your predecessors.

I know this team is young, truly I do. Pearl seems to be out of magic this year. Without a point guard to keep these "street ballers" in check, the big orange are going nowhere.

I will pray heartily for next season.
