GVX24/7 reported one of our commit has work to do on his academics. Anyone know who they are talking about?

its going to be pretty hard to get a 2.0 up to a 2.5 in one semester, if the rumors are true in his recruiting thread

I guess we need to get Kathy Bates ( Miss Sue) to come and tutor him. Wait !!! she hates UT, never mind. Bones buried under the field haha

Listen to Coach Mathews because he speaketh the truth!!!!! He has consistently maintained that Weatherd would not make it in ! In spite of the fact that some know it all fans want to bash him, he has the best information on the radio as it relates to Vol football. I cant wait for he and Coach Fulmer to take it state wide this fall!:good!:

It will suck if he doesn't make it. It'll throw Bates into the fire.

Gavin Bryant as well. Too bad we can't take up a collection to get future Vol recruits to Sylvan. That would have violation wrote all over it.

I love listening to Doug on the weekends. Where did you hear that he and Coach Fulmer are going to team up? I want to make sure I can get the show where I live.

Hold on pards......most of the time, it takes a juco at least half the season to get acclimated and to start making a contribution IF they aren't here in the spring. Weatherd missed that opportunity, so he is already behind the eight ball. I would say Weatherd was going to back up Magitt. I don't think he is going to be a great loss like most on here. I think he can help us depth wise, but I'm not sure when he would have been ready.:eek:k:

Doug said it on his Sunday show. He said he was reluctant to do it in the past because Coach Fulmer harbored aspirations of getting back into coaching. Now that the ship has finally sailed, Doug desires to team with Coach Fulmer. That would be awesome! I'm hoping he will return to be our AD one day!

Thanks! I also like the AD idea as well. Or could we just let him replace the booger eater?

Holy $hit! I hope these concerns are over rated. Hes one of my favorite recruits based on his stats as well as how he carries himself... Very classy and I'd think great leadership. We need guys like him
