sounds like it’s done since the tv contracts are restructuring. From what I’ve read espn did this to avoid trying to work around some of the other conferences fox contracts. I’ll miss the big 12 challenge. One of my favorite sporting events I ever went to was the Kansas game in phog. Just a neat placeAre we still doing the SEC/Big 12 challenge? Or is that done since Texas and OU are moving over here?
As a BC grad, I might ask you to elaborate. Looking for an easy W or some other reason you want the eagles?
I was a big Doug Flutie guy back in the day. Guys like that who have to work a little harder for success are easy to like. Kinda followed them during that time. I guess playing them would sort bring back some memories
What this really has to do with basketball? I have no idea
Well, for those like myself who have always dreamed of drawing Duke, we might finally get our chance.
Well. As much as I would love to draw Duke in the first pairings next season, they will almost certainly be paired with Kentucky. A home and home with UK/Duke at Cameron/Rupp has never happened and would be a college basketball ratings dream for the networks.
Perhaps leftover gas station pizza was a better comparison. I'd say Totinos, but I actually like Totinos.Haha! Just giving you a hard time, but BC hoops hasn’t reached the level of prestige of Chuck E. Cheese in recent years. We’d have to dip a bit deeper into the barrel for an appropriate analogy.
Haha! Flutie was before my time at BC, although I got to see him as Chargers QB when I was living in San Diego. We were good in both sports when I was there; my freshman year we knocked off #1 Notre Dame in South Bend (football) and upset #1 UNC in the NCAA tournament. Sadly, both programs have fallen on hard times and would be an easy W for the Vols these days.
BC is scheduled to play UT in baseball in Knoxville on March 7th, although that may not go well either.
