ACORN says it will close it's doors to clients until it completes an internal cover up.... err, investigation (link here).

I'm skeptical, guessing that actually means they will close the doors until they can train their people in how to avoid getting caught in compromising conversations on camera.

funny you see this as party politics when many see it as a win for the American people

I'm not complaining. And not even speculating as to their motives for doing it. I was speaking more to the effect of the bill to defund them on politics down the line, than I was to the rationale for doing it.

Including over 170 Democrats.

Republicans about to lose one of their favorite rallying cries.

Only after America was shown how corrupt an organization they were, something that democrats knew and chose to look the other way because they served a political purpose for liberals.

Now they have been exposed and will probably be investigated further. They have been a very important part of the democratic machine, getting people involved in the process on the grass roots level for years. All the while they skirted and broke the law.

If you remember what many republicans and independents opposed to Obama told you from the beginning you would have to concede most of it was correct.

Anyone who doesn't think ACORN and other like minded groups didn't pony up millions of fraudulent votes for O'bambi and other socialist, aka democrat, candidates is a head in sand moron. No doubt that's how Franken, who gives the socialists a filibuster proof senate, got in office as well.

Recently an Indiana law requiring a photo ID to vote was struck down by a court, because it supposedly discriminated against certain groups.

BULLHOCKEY!!!

If we have no integrity to 'one man one vote', why do we even pay lip service to the idea that we live in a democratic republic????

So what if 170 rats desert a ship.

Does that mean the ship isn't sinking???

I think NOT!!

New York ACORN and a tangled web

of affiliates own or manage nearly 1,500 housing units across three boroughs and draw in an estimated $5.7 million in rents, fees and profits from sales.

The properties are controlled by an opaque collection of nonprofits, holding companies and development funds. Many have generic names, like the 385 Palmetto Street Housing Development Fund or the Mutual Housing Association of New York, leaving no clue of their ties to the national ACORN conglomerate.
............
An ACORN spokesman says all of the community group's properties were acquired through city, state and federal affordable-housing programs and, as such, lack any resale value.

BERTHA'S RUNNING SCARED Spokesman Bertha Lewis ACORN CEO (seen on Fox News Sunday) is looking to move her operations from New Orleans to NY. "They want to relocate, so that Bertha, a Brooklynite, can consolidate her power," said an ACORN whistleblower. Former ACORN employee Marcel Reid, the whistleblower, asked the Dept of Justice to investigate ACORN'S "mysterious" finances. Reid is an ACORN insider---this could get interesting.

OK now, where is CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, NY Slime, LA Slime, Washerwomam Post, San Fransissy Chronicle, Dallas blow jobs and other major media outlets on this story???

How about Gannet's USSA Today?? I'll bet we can depend on them to be all over this story, that is if they aren't too busy ripping off retired employees to add to their fat pig $60 billion retirement fund they use to augment their own greedy selves!!!
