We are on lockdown. Its at my building, but our spaces are locked and nobody in or out. Not sure whats actually going on, but they have told us to stay in our offices and monitor. Crazy

Whos knows whats going on, but hopefully its nothing but a misunderstanding. I am on the top floor of Sparkman and elevators are locked down and stairs are locked down and our main entrance to our offices are locked down.

Did you hear gunfire? Are you able to barricade the doors?

Never heard any gunfire and we are still on lockdown. Hearing all kinds of conflicting things, but coroner nor local hospitals have any injuries or deaths from Redstone so this hopefully is just a mistaken active shooter and someone just panicked because they thought they saw something and called an active shooter in.

I did get up close and personal with an ATF agents M4 that he had pointed at me and made me get out from under my desk with my hands up and evacuate the building.

Fox news is saying nothing confirmed, but believe it to be an active shooter. No confirmed casualties. They also don't think it's an act of terrorism.

Bearcat....I'm over in Research Park. Rainbow Daycare is right next to my building has 3 ambulances and probably 20 police cars outside. You hearing anything on your end? I can't find anything on the news about it.

Haven't heard any news on injuries or fatalities. They swept our room and evacuated us to another space here in Sparkman . Building is still on lockdown. Have no idea what's going on

In Research Park, not Redstone, there is a daycare right next to my building with huge police presence and at least 3 ambulances. I can't find anything on the news about it. I'm literally looking at it right now.

Just saw where they said it was a miscommunication for that location. There was no threat there and they swept the building just in case.

Police are outside of the daycare playing with the kids now. It's kind of cool to see.
