The better question is who do we want as Chancellor. Until you get rid of Cheek the problems will continue.

Anyone but Hart!
His handling of the search, irrespective of outcome-to be determined, was flawed. At best he allowed the ut brand to take a bashing and further scarred the programs image, at worst he blew the marquee hire of college football history.
Either way he has failed us as a fan base!
We need a new ad who believes in the program as much as we do. I think Ut blood in that position just makes sense!

Regardless of what one thinks about the hire, I hope the truth about Hart and Cheek is revealed.

BTW, did anyone notice the little subtle jabs he made at the fanbase when he introduced CBJ? Right off the bat, he started in.

Fulmer? You have got to be kidding. Maybe if he reimbursed the millions he squeezed out of UT after his last 5 bungling years.

The big difference now is that are some serious financial constraints, and Hamilton isn't in charge passing out the lucre to cover his poor personnel decisions.

This post is a waste of time. None of you are in a position to suggest anyone. Most of you do not understand what is needed in an AD. Besides of the stated, the board of trustees will make the determination along with the president of the University Of Tennessee. That has been the way things have been done for the past 216 years.

Given that Hart has a contract until 2017 and Manning, if he stays healthy, will break Favre's career passing yardage record either before or around that time, that might be a real possibility should Manning want to stay involved in athletics. Another possibility, though maybe less likely, would be Bruce Pearl, assuming Cheek isn't still here.
