"Men's football finished the fall semester with a 2.49 grade-point average. That's down from 2.71 in the spring semester but an improvement over the dismal 2.08of the 2011 fall semester."

I was thinking with the Da'Rick transfer, we'd see a full 1.0 GPA pop. Damn.

A 2.49 is not great, but it's very good considering what happened last Fall semester. It also probably falls in the middle of the road compared to other SEC football programs.

Just win football games. If there are any doubts, win football games and if all else fails, win football games. Most of these guys did not go to college with an education in mind. It was to play football.
