white is closer to 6'4" than he is 6'2". he more than likely will barely sniff the field at linebacker this year and they've tried to mold his body to a linebackers body during the offseason so i seriously doubt he's anywhere near what he needs to be at to play in the secondary beings that will now get brought up.

he was recruited fairly high. nebraska was his biggest suitor beyond us. he'd probably be playing safety for them right now beings they have a good secondary coach..........................hahaha rivals and scout had him rated top 10-15 at safety.

bill king said our secondary coaching is non-existent. how is that allowed to continue?

because fortunately we have one of the greatest defensive coordinators in the history of college football. we play more on schemes and have enough talent to go around to where coaching CAN be pointless. most people can't even name our position coaches just because all you ever hear about are chavis, fulmer, cutcliffe and that other fellow. larry slade has been around so long and has been average at best for years.

his luxury is having a few guys go to the pros that make him look better.

Given our special teams play last year, i wouldn't consider putting good players on special teams a waste.
