I don't know anyone at Ridgeway. I do know the Wooddale coach and they got beat by 20 a by Ridgeway a couple of weeks ago. He didn't say much. He was just pissed.
Ridgeway is unbelievably good, top 10 in the country iirc. The most amazing part is that nobody is a big star like the other Memphis teams have.
That's why makes me wonder about this kid. If they are all really good, but just share the rock 5 ways, maybe he's been over looked?
He was contacted by UT, ARK, Cincy, and Tulane last week. Doesn't put up big numbers because of all the talent he's surrounded by. Smaller guards can't guard him at all! Walk-on...no way...he deserves a scholly!
Heard Cincy was supposed to issue a scholarship offer to him in early February but it never came. Sounded like he was sold on the Bearcats but cooled.
Oddly enough, I've now heard that if Nebraska offers, he's off to corn-country. Does anyone have info on exactly who has extended scholarship offers to Weary?
Not true about Nebraska MC..
That info came from a Memphis source earlier this month. Sounded weird, but seems that Weary may have a mid-major ceiling at best, so Nebraska may make sense.
I still can't find much info on this kid, so I can't confirm offers he's received. Can you confirm the Cincy talk?

lol...he played for the Bearcats year before..switched to the Magic this past season. Some say the Magic play in better tournaments.
Has there been much fallout from the Bobby Dodd news/resignation?
I was on the NC Y team for Dodd/Haynes in 1987, then came back and coached in the league for a few years. Dodd was a weird dude, but we never saw anything like the news was reporting.
I also know the dude that reported it to ESPN. He was a druggie in HS. A couple of years older than me.
