They had the cops out there in front of the students /w 5 mins left... but I think it was just a ploy by Hamilton, kind of a "Maybe seeing you guys will keep them off the court" (yeah right) "but if they storm the court, don't stop them, it'll be worth it to pay the fine."

I think it was Hamilton's way of saying "I did what I could". It was stated before the game and he had the cops there. What else was he to do? Have the cops break out night sticks? Give me a break. They're students happy about a big win. No one was hurt. Foley's fragile ego might have been but no one else was. He's just pissed he lost and those inflata-dates, I mean inflata-gators were busted up.

I dont know if anyone of you remember the UF/UGA game a couple yrs ago when the Dawgs pulled out a big win at home and they rushed the court...but they showed video tape of a UGA fan taking a swing at Matt Walsh...thats the premise for Foley's concern.

He wasn't on it long..he's in the NBA development league now...glad he left though..team in more balanced without him.

Were there any altercations between our fans and UF's coaches and players after that game? If not, then this is just pointless. I understand Foley being concerned for the security of his players and such, but if there wasn't any real threat in the first place, it's just kind of lame.

One of his players said it best.
