Per our recent conversation on the Wilson GST football vs the Nike ball, I have paid a little closer attention to who makes the jerseys of the bowl teams. So far:

1) Last night, I saw Mississippi State in Adidas jerseys and using the exact same ball that Tennessee uses. An orange shaded Wilson GST football.

2) Today I see Northwestern versus Texas A&M and they are both wearing Adidas jerseys. How 'bout that? Can't tell what football they are using.

Anyone on here noticed anyone else using the Wilson GST football that Tennessee uses? It is easy to spot. Orange shaded ball.

No real point...I just haven't paid that much attention and we talked about it a lot on here back 3-4 weeks ago. I guess the point is....there are a lot of schools out there who are not wearing Nike uniforms and kicking Nike footballs.

This game that is on right now...

1) Georgia Tech is wearing Russell Athletic jerseys
2) Utah is wearing Under Armour jerseys

Haven't been able to see what football they are using.

Other schools use the same ball?!?!? No way!!!!!

Pretty sure there have been some threads talking about the ball being an issue for our kickers. I'm pretty sure it might be relevant to see how other kickers perform with the same ball. Of course this may not be as important as the oh 50 Arnett threads.

The real point is those not using alcohol to get through this college football season have been reduced to trying to identify what kind of balls other teams are utilizing.

Yes, that is what had me interested in the topic. As we get to the higher end bowl games here, I was somewhat interesting in seeing roughly how many of these good teams are using the Nike ball.

And you are correct...I have grown weary of discussing Arnett.

Can anybody figure out that UCLA ball? I think it is a Wilson GST...?

If so....I am like....so thrilled!

This is more fun than hunting easter eggs!

Sigh.....Jim Mora Jr....being interviewed on the sidelines at the UCLA game. He would have come to Tennessee.

Mora fired at Seattle
Carroll from USC to Seattle
Kiffin from Tennessee to USC
Mora from Seattle to Tennessee

That would have been an interesting little triangle.....oh well, woulda, coulda, shoulda...

Jackson, according to your sponsor is which ball you(r) program will use. A lot like the oakley visors once the nike visors burst on to the scene a few years ago limiting only the oakley product to adidas sponsored squads.. but oakley has pretty much ousted in college sports due to adidas, UA, and Nike making all of their own products these days

Didn't we have a kicker use alcohol to successfully kick in the MTSU game? Forget the ball being used, shouldn't we have all our kickers try alcohol?

Sure worked for us fans.

At least that would be a legitimate excuse for missing XP's and FG's. I can hear the kicker being interviewed now after he goes 1-4 in a game. "What did you expect? I was drunk!"
