Yea i think we do. We didnt get killed yesterday and most of these recruits know what we have coming in so I think we continue to recruit well this year!
If early playing time is important to an Off Lineman then we should be getting some commits. I know the twins play with a lot of heart, but can anyone tell me of another SEC teams that starts even 1 OL that weighs less than 270 lbs and we have 2.
At this point, most of the guys that were here I don't think commit this early. Victor Hampton could be a guy that was here unofficially yesterday that could pull the trigger, but other than that I don't see anyone committing.
I feel very confident that this staff could sell a pair of reading glasses to a blind man...we will still have a helluva good year recruiting wise. OL will be a big need for sure and I think they are making it a huge priority. Pick up some JUCO OL that can contribute immediatly and if we get stone and leifheit our OL will pick up some beef for this class.
Thanks for clearing that up for us. Someone should get a note to the staff to give up on recruiting this year.
And be sure to include in the note the following points;
1) don't run the ball up the middle on 4th down. You obviously don't know how to call plays
2) bench crompton asap, start stephens. 3) fire david reaves, he doesn't know how to coach qb's.
4) don't utilize the strongest part of our offensive attack so much on 1st down...
If someone could get this typed up and sent to Kiffin, it would be great. He needs to know, as a fan base, we will always know more about coaching than he ever will.

I think they all realize how bad we need them for next year and if they want to make an impact as a freshman they will commit and play for us next fall rather than playing on speical teams or riding the bench for other teams.
Not positive what difference it will make. But it was evident from sitting there that most of the visitors realized it was a QB problem, and not a team wide problem.
