After the storm.

I was in the middle of a post when the most violent bolt of lightning I have ever seen struck our house. It knocked my computer out instantly. It started to hail and pour down rain. My yard flooded, but thankfully my new landscaping wasn't damaged too much.



That was scary.

Good grief, LiO, is everything alright? Sounds pretty scary to me.

Lightning struck the light pole outside the house and you should have seen the shower of sparks that came raining down. Thank GOd for a metal roof!! Our yard was like a raging river for about an hour. Tomorrow's agenda includes cleaning up after the deluge. But on a brighter note, my shrubs and flowers are okay.

Not too many things that scare me as bad as a dangerous electrical storm. I could tell you some really bad stories.

But since everything, including you and the fam, seems to be okay, I will now depart the vicinity of my computer and move in the direction of the sack.
