Georgia to coordinate a huge bark-off to try and turn their season around..
It has been a few years since the Bulldogs of Georgia have had one of their infamous "bark-offs" and they regretted that they didn't have one last year and they are not going to let that happen again.

So for their next home game all the UGA fans are asked to be in their seats and hour before kickoff for the bark-off. One side of the stadium will try and out bark the other side of the stadium for the entire hour leading up to the kickoff.

When asked a local Georgia fan said "The bark-off of 1980 was just as important as Hershchel Walker in the success of that season."

Theres going to be a lot of hoarse UGA fans come Sunday.

Not to mention, thats just sad.

I don't know about shambles, but they are definitely on the verge. What I took from the quote is that they are trying to circle the wagons, so to speak. Georgia is just trying to unify the team and fans, trying to get them to believe again. But that's just how I took it.

If I wasn't so tired I might actually have the energy to throw my computer out my office window after reading that....ridiculous. That quote was the saddest thing I've read today, and I spent half the morning reading obituaries (trying to make sure I wasn't dead since I sure felt like it).

It's pathetic enough that they're actually going to bark at each other...

But the fact that they're planning on doing it for a full effing hour!?? Even if I were a rabid UGA fan, I think barking would get old after about, oh I don't know, 7 or 8 seconds.

Youve obviously have never been to a 'bark-off'. Its off the chain!

Its like a dog barking impersonation tourney....first round is one side does the Yorkie and the other does the Shih Tzu, then Chinese Shar-Pei vs. Pomeranian etc.

The last time they did this it was a epic battle between the underdog Brittany Spaniel and heavily favored Airedale Terrier, but the Spaniel side pulled it out at the end.

I have seen nothing to substantiate this. This wouldn’t be another cut-n-paste rumor from TOS would it?

This cannot be real. The leghumpers are ridiculous, but even they aren't that ridiculous.

There is no way I could possibly have lived here for 15 years and not heard of this "bark-off" thing before.

(please God let it be real)
