I really didn't have much historical context on the show. I remember watching JtG as a young child and being entertained, but I never really realized the significance of his "impact" in relationship to Vegas and bringing the betting line into the mainstream.

I always thought Brent Musberger was a weasel. Now I think that is an insult to weasels.

Musberger dropped Jimmy like he was rotten Tuna. I, like you, was only around for a little of his final years at CBS. didn't have all the context. Interesting show with a very sad ending.

Was he the one that got in trouble for saying something like blacks are better athletes becaues slave owners "bred" them that way? I pretty young when all that went down.
