...to Jimmy Dykes, I agree that the SEC tourney should be seeded 1-12. He's right when he said you can keep the match-ups the same during the season. But, when the top 4 teams in the East go a combined 24-0 against the West, it just isn't fair that two teams from the West get to wait till Friday to play and the E3 and E4 have to play on Thursday.

I can see where that makes sense...The way I look at it though, SEC=Most Dominant Conference and SEC East=Most Dominant Division in the Conference

I don't see the SEC the most dominant in basketball right now. The Big East def has us beat.

Well, as many times as he said it, I think it's probably subliminally ingrained in my thoughts now......

The talk of dobbers and the countless times he mentioned he talked to Stansbury about the game being a must-win stand out as well....

Then, at half he had to talk to Stansbury about talking to him earlier about the game being a must-win game instead of talking to the coach of the team that was winning.....

I would have to say that the SEC West is dominate in football and the SEC East is dominant in basketball.

Not only that, but it is unfair to a bubble team like Florida to have to face KY, Vandy, and UT twice, whereas if they were in the West, they'd have 12 or more wins in conference and are a lock for hte Dance.

I think the SEC should get rid of the divisions all-together in basketball. Do what the Big East does. Georgia or USC may have been bubble teams this season if that were the format. In most years, USC and UGA will almost be guaranteed 6 conference losses just by having to play UT and KY twice and having to play Vandy and Florida on the road.

the ACC sets up their tournament without divisional seedings, not sure if they base their schedule on the divisions or not though.

I think this is something that will be changed after this season for the SEC. That 24-0 mark is unreal.

Yea I watched the second half on mute and just let some background music play, those announcers last night were really bothering me. I think having my wife and kids out of the house was really the icing on the cake. Just me, beer, and basketball, and that stupid announcer tried to ruin it.
