I was there as well, and hanging on the goal post that came down, helped carry it out. Greatest sporting event I've ever been to.

If TN wins, then the fans will charge the field. They can have 300 police officers around the field but the students and others will charge in masses. And I say - “GO FOR IT!” Let them enjoy the moment as TN has beaten Bama in their life time!

Edit- the students were about 3 yrs old in 2006.

We've been bludgeoned to death for 15 years to pur bitter rival. Young fans (including me) don't really know what a really good Tennessee team is, and some fans literally cant even remember the last time Tenn beat the Tide. If the fans want to storm the field, let them.
