Eric Ainge may never been as seriously injured in his brief career as a QB in high school. Don't know for sure but I have seen no reports to the contrary.
After Sanders ridiculously exposed him, causing his shoulder injury, Ainge has never been the same. This happens to some athletes, some never recover. A psychological factor unexplainable.
What other explanation makes any sense? He claims he was overwhelmed by the options the offense package made available to him, huh?, he had all Spring and Fall to play against our world class defense who probably knows our playbook by heart. Reports were positive, "we can be scary"!
Nope, I see fear in his eyes, fear in his on field body language, fear in his lack of prescence in the pocket.
He may, or he may not, return to his potential, only time and maturity will tell.
