Ainge Article

GameDay is at the Aggies game....so they'll be half way across the country. We'll have to find another reason to blame this loss on. Yup....loss. ... I'm not saying a blow out...but my question is...do the players believe they can win with JC? I hope so. But I think that Ainge/Meach duo has a whole lot of people on that team believing we can come back against anything. We'll see I guess...I'm certainly going to be watching and cheering my butt off...but...not feeling good about a W.

Who was it on here this past week or so saying that Crompton should be playing? Be careful what you wish for.

I'm not saying that flop if he sees playing time, but that LSU defense is not the best situation for a new QB.

I won't count Ainge out. Last week we all thought Swain definitely wouldn't play, but he was out there on a bad ankle making big catches. I think Ainge can do the same... minus the big catches thing.

I think UT should have no comment on player injuries. Why do you give LSU the benifit of knowing Ainge is hurt. Man I would have said Angie had a minor srain and will be 100% by game time. Crompton should be fine. I believe he may actually have more talent then EA anyway. He just doesn't have the experience.

According to the Daily Beacon online-Ainge is the starter. But it is the beacon.

I am saying now if Ainge is under 80% I think Crompton should play.

I don't want a qb rotation, I think if Ainge can go, let him go, if not let Crompton go.

If Crompton has to play, I think he will be fine as long as he avoids throwing interceptions. If he has to throw some passes away, that's fine. There are worse things than punting.

Basically, we get a 75-80% Ainge with experience or a 100% Crompton with little expereince.

In short, only Coach Chavis and our defense can save us now.
