Ainge Not Transferring

You'd be interested to know that Eric Ainge seems to think he'll have some input into the offensive coordinator hire.

That strikes me as just a tad bit...PRESUMPTUOUS!

I don't think "I'll have a part in that" means he thinks he's a part of the decision process. His skills, development, etc. will be a contributing factor on what is needed and at what level but thinking he meant he has a seat at the table is taking that a wee bit out of context.

You may be right. It wasn't a big deal. It just comes off as really presumptuous for a 19 year-old kid to be discussing the hiring process of the SEC program with a $60 m athletic budget. He may not have meant it that way.

Depends, would a genius misspell genius on purpose and if so, should we trust what he has to offer? :dunno:

Which is one reason I posted it.

If he was a foot shorter, I'd say he's an exact clone of Kasey Kahne...

Good luck to Ainge in the off-season. With a good QB coach, I think he may turn it around.

Agreed. I think he'll have a shot to at least be a stable QB. Hopefully he'll be great. :cross:

Depends if you understand what "genious" (in quotation marks) means.

Lookout, is that your ship?

That's what I was doing. I apologize if I hurt your feelings.

Guys, I don't know what to think about Ainge anymore from his play this season. Watching him throw it out of the endzone, underhanded and straight into the air, and right into the opposing team for a touchdown looked like playground football to me. He's going to have to use a little more intelligence and discipline to win many of the fans over again.

If we can shave a few dollars off of Phil's salary, perhaps we will have enough money for Cutcliffe for the offense and a psychiatrist for Ainge too. Wow. This is really starting to all come together.

Methinks he'll be OK with David Cutliffe as QB coach and OC. I think the whole team, save for the defense, went to hell in a basket this year for whatever reason. Expectations next year will be low.
