Ainge playing

We know it, we just don't care.

He better play now, cause he won't nest year unless Uncle Danny buys him some PT.

Sorry, you're wrong on that one.

Clausen and the Vols will roll Bama, I just hope the dumb Tennessee fans don't think that Ainge did it all when we score when he is in too.

:biggrin2: hahaha yea 1 TD and 1 interception should do the job.... the only shot we have in this game if Ainge gets in and STRETCHES the field,, Clausen is a good leader he just doesnt have the talent to win against Bama. Keep Clausen in and Bama stacks the line to stop Riggs like every other team this year

Sadly, you have bought into the hype.

Eh well.

Bama has NO offense without a deep threat, and with Darby facing Tenn's Rush Defense.

One passing TD from Clausen COULD beat Bama, easily.

It's gonna be ugly though. Thirties to teens for Tennessee.

Man it's good to be a fan, I'm a huge fan, but it's another thing to be blind.

Brodie Croyle is one of the best qb's in the SEC with or without Prothro they still have some good WR's. Yes they lost their best deep threat, but we also lost our best player in the secondary so that kind of balances itself out. One TD is not good enough to win a defensive struggle look at the Florida game for proof. We need our offense to produce so our defense doesn't tire out like it did against Georgia. Darby is a much better back than Thomas Brown and he had no problem rushing for 94 yards against us because your boy Rick Clausen couldnt put together a drive to give them time to catch their breath.

You might wanna go back and look at the drive chart for that game.

"My boy" did just fine except for the INT at the end of the first half and the missed receiver on the play before it.

Remember he was playing with SEVERAL injuries too.

Ainge hasn't gotton over sucking and being immature and cocky.

Croyle isn't even the best QB in the West, much less the SEC. His win-loss record isn't impressive and neither are his stats in two games against the Vols. He's overrated by anyone inside the state lines of Bama, and any Vol fan that wants to use him to try and say that Tennessee needs to play Ainge.

People aren't using Croyle as an excuse to play Ainge. When Clausen is in the defense only has to cover 50% of the field.

It has nothing to do with hype, or bandwagons, or the tooth fairy. It is a fact that Clausen is a leader, but he is also a SEC West reject (Croyle has managed to earn and keep his starting spot on an SEC west team) who is in way over his head thanks to UTs offensive brilliant offensive coaching staff.

Reason dictates that Ainge play from here on out. There is no replacement for game experience, and if he doesn't get it, UT could easily be headed to the Music City Bowl again next year.

I don't know what you base your opinion on, but Ainge will be the starter at UTK next season. You can book it! I can only assume you are going on the neive assumption that Crompton will be starting. But, that is not the case.

Who cares as long as we win. I am burned out by the debate. It should not have lasted this long into the 6th game of the year. That is the coaches fault.

Well Bama has a really good defense line and pass coverage. I think it would be wise to keep in Rick with his consistant short passes so we dont get any turnovers. We all know how Ainge does under pressure and i will promise you there will be allot of it. Expect turnovers if ainge plays my prediction. We need to see something from my old Teammate Riggs from this game.

Coaches fault? They tried to settle this. Remember, Ainge was named the full time starter. HE SUCKED IT UP! Or, do you think we should have continued to play him they way he was playing?

Crompton will start.

He was better coming out of highschool than Ainge, and he knows the UT offense better than Ainge. He's been studying it for years under the watchful eye of Heath Shuler.

You Ainge buttkissers can hope all you want, but he is a career back-up.

Who cares about that guy. He was nothing but trouble. If he would have stayed he would be out by now or even worse, put the entire program on probation. Good luck to UF if they get him. He will be out by the third week for rules violations, or he will be broken from scambling around.

He could scramble could he! Hehe, im not being racist but black QB's are better at scrambling than white QB's. We better get better at scrambling by saturday cause we will doin allot of it with the BAMA blitz.

Yeah, he srambled his way into a season ending injury at SC. Just wait till he gets back to the SEC. We won't last.

THAT is a racist statement. Let me name you a few good scramblers. Mike Vick, HEath Schuler, Matt Jones, John Elway, Mark Brunell, Randall Cunningham, Alex Smith.

Yes it is the coaches fault. We have not fared any better with the rotation. They should have stuck with him through thick and thin. He should have never let it be a decision in the first place. He should have said after spring practice that Ainge is the man and he would not be demoted due to injury. Fulmer is giving one of these qb's false hope that they will be the main guy.
