I saw last night before I hit the sack that Ainge got Mark May's helmet sticker....Guys, I know it was just one game but I think Erik Ainge is back and better than Freshman year.....Time will tell

Wathching the Fulmer Show this morning, there were a number of his passes that "threaded the needle" in a big way. I couldn't believe how close a few of his passes were to being picked off. Maybe that is the sign of a good QB and here's to the receivers that caught them but the replays were scary.

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he ansewered a lot of questions that came about during the off season last night....I think that was the best game we've seen him play and that hopefully the best game is to come....It's hard to believe he threw 4 TD passes last night and only threw 5 last year...Monterio Hardest looked really good last night running the ball

I believe he will be great this year. When he was in the pocket, he appeared calm and confident. If there was ever going to be a game he would be most likely to spaz out in it would be the opener. After playing like that against a top 10 ranked team, his confidence will sky rocket as the season goes on.

I got to say a few words to him at the start of the Vol walk and he seemed totally focused...I thought right then that this was a different Erik Ainge...you could see it in his face!!!

It's amazing what difference a few coaching changes and stricter discipline rules can make.
