Pretty solid for the AAC

Those are both solid moves for the American. However, I don't really get why they'd immediately go after two teams from Colorado. It seems that with just Air Force they get the Colorado market as well as a nationwide fanbase.

My guess is maybe they're trying to weaken the MWC enough that they can get Boise and/or San Diego St to leave also.

Because the Smurf Turf turned them down... again???

I think the service academies are pretty attractive now especially considering the financials. Those players already get paid. You know their athletic departments are solid

Boise and SD State eyeing a PAC12 or Big 12 invite instead.

SD State likely is trying to look for such with one or the other. I’m not sure I see a scenario where the Pac12 invites Boise St, though I really can’t speak as much on the Big 12’s end.
