Hearing AJ tore his ACL Wednesday in practice.

He will have surgery on his ACL, rehab, and then he will have surgery on his shoulder which has been bothering him all season.

Good luck to him in his rehab(s)

man, that's rough (especially with it so late in the year). here's to a quick recovery and him competing for a spot next year

Wow, good thing we're bringing in Helm and Wolf. Creamer may end up converting to TE as well.

Creamer needs to be immediately moved to SLB when he gets here IMO. We need some athleticism on defense, and Creamer would bring it. He has the same characteristics of a guy by the name of Shaun Phillips. I'm not saying he'll be as good as Phillips, but their intangibles are very similar.

Hate to hear that for the young man. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery and can come in and compete for playing time

Anyone know what happened to Jason Carr and Justis Pickett

Carr got a few snaps in the first 3 games, but will get a medical RS for this season. He's been taking 2nd-team reps at DT as of late.

Pickett was not eligible to play this year per NCAA transfer rules, but the coaches liked him a lot coming out of camp. He and Hurd will likely duke it out for 2nd-team reps behind Lane next year.

Hope he has a speedy recovery and is back competing soon!

I don't believe anyone can have a quick recovery from an ACL tear unless steroids are involved with the recovery. This is just like Curt's injury and recovery. He may play next year but I wouldn't count on it. :salute::salute:

Move croom to TE, he only catches two passes a game anyways.. he can never get open at the wr spot. .

If they are truly "intangible" what are you comparing?

Well it's not like we don't have great depth at te anyway... Wait. Jk! One of the worst places for us to lose a player. Here's to hoping he has a speedy and successful recovery

Partially agree. Part of him not catching passes has to do with our qb situation. He has decent speed for a wr. But he have great speed for a te.

What is up with the shoulder injuries? I have heard of at least 4 players that will have off season surgery.

I see him open quite often, but the qb usually throws the ball over his head. You are also forgetting that he is just a RS freshman. In an ideal situation NONE of these WR would be getting more than 2nd team reps. Not even North or Pig.

Adrian Peterson disagrees
