The only thing that drives me nuts is that he doesn't use his brain. Everything is 100% effort! which is great, but he will fall for the first move every time. The play at the end of the game is one but he also falls for the fake handoff goes after the RB and leaves his area open for the QB to get an easy first down.

aj played like a beast tonight.hope he comes back.with him,maggit and weatherd we should have a great group of lb's next year.

Overrated player who celebrates a tackle! I believe the NFL is full of them. I am in no way trying to take away the fun of the game of which I have played on many levels but at some time a bit of humbliness is not only expected but is necessary!!!! I bought in on all the BUTCH talk and still believe he will at some point at least get up into some respectable bowl games but I am not impressed at this point. Before you people hammer me with replys I do believe he is a good coach and will at least bring us back to some level of prominence but what I watched tonight made me sick. 4 man rush 95% of the time like we were facing a 400 yard passer. BLITZ??? Did we give the Defensive Ends a little coaching advice and tell them to contain the edges and make them scramble to the inside? We got burned 3 games in a row on that !!!!!!! Still, at no point was it apparent that we adjusted and contained the edge. I probably follow this team more via the web/newspaper/radio more than the majority of you but at this point I am utterly angry. Have tickets for UTK next week and truly have no interest in going. I hope this can get turned around, it has been turned around quicker at many other lower level schools.

That play at the end of the game was ALL on McNeil...He--ONCE AGAIN--didn't KNOW his assignment--Coleman had the TE in the End zone--and McNeil was responsible for outside contain...but he dropped into coverage and left the WIDE SIDE of the field open for Robinette--or at least that's how I saw it after just one replay....both he and Coleman were the only DBs lined up on that side...one had the TE, and one had outside "force" assignment...but BOTH dropped back to cover the TE....11 games in and STILL CONFUSED....:loco:

At this point in the season, that's coaching.... very poor coaching.

Could be--but both players have been in the system for 3 years and need to take ownership for their play some time...

Even Sutton seemed confused about his assignment on that last drive when he let 87 past him--it looked like he thought he had help over the top from McNeil (safety)...Anyway--Sutton definitely didn't turn and run with him like he believed he was in man coverage...

It's too hard to tell if they are being coached up and just getting confused in the game--or that they aren't being coached up--I would tend to think the latter because we are 11 games in the season, coming off of a bye week--and they still don't seem to know their assignments....

I am NO BELIEVER in JANCEK OR MARTINEZ....NONE, nor will I ever be.....
