I support firing bad coaches. I don’t support replacing those coaches with similar or worse coaches. For the first time in years, we have a competent staff and AD. I think he hand picked the staff and didn’t hire Steele just to fire him when this “bargain” contract expired. Our biggest problem is a culture where we expect to lose. CJH has to guard this culture for the next few years, and bring in people that will make this place better. If that means we play with 70 guys next year so be it.

Someone on the Rimington Watch probably has a good chance of beating out a Sophomore. I know he's definitely stronger.

If you look at all of the "watch lists" for awards, pretty much every person that plays that position makes the list . . . I only pay attention to these award lists until November when the actual best are named.

Y’all say we have needs at OL, DL, LB, Pass rush and CB, and we also could kind of use another RB

I post threads about transfers at those positions. We have 4-5 spots left and are gonna have to fill those with someone

Weird that 2 Cincy OL jumped in portal at same time. One didn’t play much but this one did. Seems like a guy with this experience probably wouldn’t be transferring to come somewhere like this and probably being pursued by a playoff contender

Cooper had to step in and play. He got manhanded a whole lot. I'd say he was weak compared to upperclassmen on the DL thatvjave had yrs of SC work. To be honest, the whole OL got worked this year.

Imo we could get this guy, slide Carvin to guard. Start getting Darnell and William Parker both ready for LT now. Keep Cade on the right side. Cooper isn’t ready yet... yeah he held his own against UF but didn’t look nearly as good against A&M when he had to line up on Bobby Brown/Demarvin Leal

I think Darell is not twitchy enough to play LT. He got beat a million times playing RT last year. I know he was a 5 star and all but just do not think he ist team material.

He is very talented. But what was stated is a fact. He doesn't have good enough feet, quick twitch, to play LT. His talent, when fulfilled is likely a road grading RT. And blaming Friend is a tired lazy excuse of an argument. Friend is a solid coach. He didn't hold back a player that wanted to be good. Some of the issue with Wright is his drive to be great. He needs a better work ethic in his end. Conditioning, weight room, practice habits.

I wouldn’t want to try if Pruitt was my HC either and I knew no matter how hard I worked he was gonna start the same garbage QB and 3-4 plays
