Al Davis isn't looking good

Al never was handsome. But he is 81, and he probably doesn't care how he looks. Those close to him say that his mind is still sharp.

evidence over the last 10+ years proves otherwise.

Anyone hear his interview the other day where he referred to Auburn's QB as Kim Newton? Not once, but twice. He also mentioned Sam Bradford's play in the playoffs this year. Bless his heart.

His team has been to the Super bowl in the past 10 years. That doesn't mean a lot right now, but the old man may have a few surprises left in him.

Al's mom lived to be over 100, so Al may be counting on another 20 or so years.

The whole NFL will miss Al. He has done a lot for the NFL, (both good and bad). I don't think he can be replaced as a owner and a force in the NFL. And to some, that could be a good thing.

The Skins survived after J.K. Cooke passed, and I have no doubts the Raiders will too

I am sure Ari Gold will have a bidder

Didn't say the Raiders or the NFL would not survive without Al Davis.
