It's not a surprise to see them fire Golden. After the way Clemson throttled them Saturday!

They should go after Brent Venables. If not him try Kirby Smart or Doug Nussmeier. Or they could try their luck and snag one of the newly christened coaches like Philip Montgomery, Chad Morris or Tom Herman.

Beyond that Larry Fuente is obvious and Matt Campbell is a really young and promising head coach he would probably be a breath of fresh air for Miami.

Miami has a terrible fan base, poor resources, and subpar facilities. They will go cheap on their hire and flounder in mediocrity as they have been doing for quite some time.

it wouldn't take much to succeed there..out recruit Florida State and Clemson..The ACC is terrible just 3-17 vs the top 25 this year.. FSU has played 7 games..none vs top 25 teams

Miami is falling back to the horrible level they were in the 1970s when they only had two winnings seasons(6-5 in 1974 and 1978)

Miami joined the A She She over a decade ago, and hasn't so much as sniffed a division title, let alone a conference or national title.
