...for Michael Jackson. :eek:lol:

Sharpton 'honored' Jackson today with one of his, "we hate Whitey" speeches.

BTW, who is going to pay for this huge public memorial LA has planned?

I don't know. I thought Michael Jackson and California were broke.

He's right... it should be a national day of mourning if any place in this republic shuts down because of some entertainer.

Hey Bill,..how's Ashley? Hope good.

Let the hollywood types and music moguls pay for his funeral

She's doing well, thanks. I've found a place in Tampa and the movers will be here later this week to bring my things. It will be good to be close again.

Little kids are rejoicing everywhere. No more wine and kissing on the mouth.

the day MJ died Sharpton made a speech and made it political as usual. i hate saying this bc i don't want to wish death on anyone, but when Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson die or become so old they don't "run to the rescue" w/ some political movement, then I'll be happy

it's sad that their deaths will actually advance their movement

I do not understand why they have any credibility in the black community, after all they do little more than act as pimp for the black community.

My nephew, Brian Bradshaw, was killed by an explosive device in Afghanistan on June 25, the same day that Michael Jackson died. Mr. Jackson received days of wall-to-wall coverage in the media. Where was the coverage of my nephew or the other soldiers who died that week? There were several of them, and our family crossed paths with the family of another fallen soldier at Dover Air Force Base, where the bodies come "home." Only the media in Brian's hometown and where he was stationed before his deployment covered his death.

the more cynical folks out there will also notice that press coverage of the deaths of soldiers isn't nearly as intense and damning of the administration.

Sharpton was feeding MJ's father every line at a press conference earlier in the week. It was crazy because he was standing close enough to the microphone that you could hear him (though his mouth was barely moving) saying something briefly, and then MJ's dad would say the same thing but in more words when answering questions. It was ridiculous.

MJ's dad is a joke anyways, but sharpton and j. jackson should be kicked in the balls and then kneed in the face

Sharpton was also critical of the press coverage of his death. Give me a freakin' break. A huge majority of the press I've caught has pretty much ignored or downplayed the fact this is a guy who at one point regularly slept with unrelated boys.

I disagree that Jackson's death has helped the cause of clowns like Jesse Jackass or Sharpton. Maybe to unreasonable people, but I'm not one who believes those type are anything more than few and far between. Most folks see right through these two and their agenda.

The irony is that Sharpton has given the conservative commentators political cover for criticizing Jackson, even in death.
