His stats as a QB (imagine we're recruiting him as a RB or WR though):

71/152 (46.7%), 1,332 yards, 20 TD, 3 INT
122 carries, 1,549 yards, 12.7 avg, 10 TD

He had 9 100+ yard rushing games in 12 games played

After getting a scholarship offer from Tennessee last month, a Class of 2020 athlete is planning to visit the Vols again soon.

Three-star junior athlete Rishard Densmore of Bessemer (Ala.) City High School told GoVols247 that he’s scheduled to return to Tennessee next weekend for the Vols’ junior day.

The 6-foot-1, 189-pound Densmore said he will be visiting Tennessee for the third time.

He said he’s being recruited by the Vols to play wide receiver. They extended an offer to him on Jan. 24, and he also holds offers from Troy, Southern Miss, UAB, Arkansas State and Liberty.

Densmore is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 708 overall prospect and No. 60 athlete in the 2020 class. He has yet to be rated in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite.

They want me to come bad,” he said.

“They want me to play slot receiver because I’m real fast. They love how I move. I play quarterback for my school and they based it off that. They need a guy like me.”

Alabama native and new Vols wide receivers coach personally offered Densmore and the two have struck up a strong bond in the last two months. Densmore, who also has offers from Troy, Southern Miss, UAB and Air Force, is already planning on visiting again in March to watch Martin work with Tennessee’s receivers.

“That’s my favorite coach anywhere,” Densmore said.

“When he got there, he was telling me how much he loved my film and we kept talking and conversating. We’ve just gotten so close.”

Enlightening from VQ

"The school recruiting me harder than anyone is Tennessee. I talk to coach Tee Martin and coach [Kevin] Sherrer a lot. We talk a couple of times a week and I have visited up there a couple of times this year.

"My first visit to Tennessee was for the Missouri game in the fall and I fell in love. It was beautiful and the coaches are treating me like family.

"I am looking to commit right before our first game in August. A lot of schools are showing a lot of interest, so I want to see how things go this spring. I am going to take some visits in the summer and see what happens.

"Most schools like me at wide receiver, but some like me at running back and quarterback. I would prefer to play quarterback. Position is something I will look at when making my decision. I also want to find the campus I want to live on. I want to feel comfortable.

"I am looking to cut my list down after the spring, then really start to think about my commitment. Nebraska is a big offer, so I know I want to find out more about them, so we will see who is next."
TN leads and likes him at WR per Simmons

Offer list is terrible. Diamond in the rough?

I hope so. If he's not better than his offer list, we should move on. I guess I'll trust the staff to make that evaluation. Film is at QB, so hard to take much from it. Solid speed and athleticism it looks like.
