I wasn't aware that people voted for an agriculture commissioner. Nor did I realize it was one of the most important positions in an eastern state.

The actual commissioner's video was funnier than the spoof... in a sad way.

Thanks, guy, for giving Democrats and anyone who wants to make fun of the South even more ammunition. I think he, literally, had every stereotype of a Southern Conservative Republican in there to lampoon.

I may vote for him. Thanks to thugs and criminals that want to keep me in the dark so they can spend all that money since they don't give a rip about Alabama I don't know what the Ag Commish does.

However, I bet it would be some entertainment and it's only 5 billion he can screw with.

I love the way he takes his aviators off like he, quite literally, is a highway patrolman that is going to severely reprimand you for allowing your state to be run by criminals and thugs.

This thing is a freakin' goldmine.

Make fun of the "ole boy" all you want but everything he said was probably true. Now I'm from Tennessee and I gotta laugh a little over the way he came off as an Alabama redneck but heck I'd vote for him if I lived there.........Commish:)

I like the "Listen Up" part. When he says he's going to kick butt and take names I believe him - I just don't know who he's talking about.

Besides a whole mess of socially engineered words and thinly veiled threats... how is he really going to be different than the "thugs and criminals" he's ousting.

The horse, rifle, aviators, cowboy hat, etc... seemed like a stage act and over the top. Apparently Bonanza is now a favored act to manage $5,000,000,000.
