Alabama is last in nearly every offensive category. They are, however, 3rd in SAC Bunts.
But... they are at the top of the league in most of the pitching categories including fewest walks allowed (54) to our (89).
Alabama (13th) and Tennessee (14th) are at the bottom of the league in Home Runs.
Summary
On our end...we can't give them free passes. We must force the worst hitting team in the conference to make their own luck.
If we have 4 errors against UA as we did versus Tech the other night we'll lose.
Bama is coming off a road series win of LSU which seems impressive but my gut tells me that LSU is not in mid season form, they are youthful.
The week before LSU... Bama lost three out four games to Houston (RPI 57) and Southern Miss (RPI 15).
Road games in the SEC are always a slog, but this is a good match up for us and...we are 4-0 on the road.
If we could take the series down there and get to .500 it would be huge.
GBO!!!
