disagree ...Bama would pound those two teams too. Neither are a measuring stick for Bama.

Bama is the Mike Tyson of the 80's . Everybody gets KO's early ...and a few slip through util the late rounds and then get KO'd.

When those guys that got KO'd fought each other ...they looked like pretty good fighters.

I'm not arguing for a win against Bama and haven't from the beginning of this season but we could have performed better than we did.

My unbiased opinion after seeing both Oregon and Alabama. Oregon will win by 2 TDs

Well it's obvious that Alabama is a great team. We knew that before the game. I took the OP as saying that Tennessee did not play inspired football like they did against GA and SC. As for the lack of talent, we also know that exists. Depth and SEC caliber players are a must. However, just because you lack talent, doesn't mean you can't win in this or any league on any given Saturday.

Is that a better explanation for you?

Don't forget you were playing the #1 team in the nation and did the stupid thing of disrespecting that team by calling them the "red" team instead of using their name. Dumb move by a rookie coach in the SEC to disrespect a a NC level team and come in their house to play. Why poke the bear??? Dumb

Our first couple of possessions were ugly. The team was jittery. Probably just knowing what they were up against. Had no effect on the outcome though.

Bandwagon?? Don't think so chump. Crap like not saying a team's name and calling them "the red team" is not very smart of a coach when facing a team like Bama.You won't hear amything like that coming out of the Bama coaches and players. Ole Ms qb made that mistake and you see what happened to them.

SC just beat the #5 Mizzou but they must really suck huh :crazy:

I wonder how good Alabama would be without Cooper, Norwood, Bell, Yeldon and Drake? Georgia doesn't suck. If their offense was healthy, they would be undefeated.
