Am i completely off or was he the qb before Robinson who blew out his knee but continued to play on it. Also, wasn't he the first "modern" qb in UT history? It gets a little fuzzy prior to 1987-88.

Yeah I was thinking he was a qb, but you say he is signed as a hitting coach so it kinda threw me off. Did he play both here? Pre 93 is my real cutoff date as far as what I actually remember as a fan.
