“Young guys: Ethan Davis, he’s really going to be really special. Hopefully he don’t hear that. But he’s going to be really special, I think, as his physical development continues. I feel frustrated for E because he came in with a shoulder, didn’t really get a winter offseason, gets healthy for spring ball — first time, your core, doing a lot of stuff that we put on our guys. Did a great job mentally learning the offense in a short amount of time where he was able to go out and get reps. But, physically, development had to continue. Spring game, he’s playing his tail off, breaks his collarbone in the fourth quarter of that game, misses his entire summer from strength and conditioning.
