Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Pelosi's comment of "We're either a team or not" speaks directly to my problem with politics. Officials are not elected to be part of a team. They're elected to serve their constituents. When someone "on your team" proposes something your constituents oppose, that creates a problem.

Sadly, she's right though. Having this "Team" mentality by both parties is exactly what's happening these days.
It's gotten to the point that each party likes tearing down & blasting each person w/as much negative hate speech for the opposite team player 24/7. This type of behavior will not stop anytime soon between the children that are up on Capital Hill.

When the founder of green peace calls you a pompous twit and slams you on your #NewDeal to “ save the planet” you should probably rethink what your plan is . lol

Seems like if you consider cities places where you have to send food, etc, and it's unclear exactly what cities contribute except smog and hot air, then perhaps it's time to rethink the need for cities. I still think cities represent overhead and rural heartland areas represent production. If the day came to place bets on which one can survive, I'm not putting bets on cities.

Except they would be traveling to the rural areas trying to take our food.

Relatively new when you got it.

So yeah, pretty old. :)
Actually my dad bought identical rifles for both me and my brother. We were born, in 1947 and 1949. We both used either rifle or both, so after my brother died, I sold off most of his firearms. I decided to keep only one of the two Remingtons. One had a 1947 date, and one a 1950 date (I was born Dec. 1949). The one with the 1947 date was of much better build quality. The 1947 one had a thicker barrel, a much nicer walnut stock, and a case hardened bolt, even nicer sights. The one I kept was probably his. I'm guessing that my dad bought them new right after each of us was born, and saved them for us, but I'm not sure. I never thought to ask.

I wonder why it’s so hard to get people to understand the rules . when you become a superstar politician you don’t “ actually “ have to do the things you tell the peasants they should be doing . The old socialist that said breadlines would be good for the US and the new socialist that thinks farting cows are dangerous to our climate both have a carbon footprint larger than most people on the planet . 🤔

Well said. And it goes the other way. Voters/constituents are too loyal to the "team" or party to realize that many of the positions taken by your party are counterproductive, yet a good team member is supposed to blindly vote for and support whatever harebrained or sinister idea that originates from the top apparatchiks in the party.
