Alford bans twitter. Others to follow?

All current players already have had to delete their Twitter sites, and incoming freshmen must do the same before arriving on campus. There are no exceptions, not even for Alford's son, Kory, a walk-on freshman.

The U & Boise State both already have twttter bans in place for athletes as well.

I can see both sides of this debate. Personally as many teams that are in hot water with the NCAA these days it's probably the smartest thing to do for coaches. Some of these kids are great athletes but not the smartest tools in the shed, don't want one of them to admitt to something stupid or illegal for the world to see.
