Fair enough.I hadn't been watching baseball, just started back this season and I love it more than any other sport except college football
Strong statement... I think the AL has'em covered in the closers department while Halladay, Greinke, Beckett, Jackson, Verlander, and Hernandez are pretty solid too.
The AL is also not real baseball...
so should every player in the AL stop, get out of their contract, and either... wait til they take the DH out or demand an NL contract? the players don't decide whether there is a DH or not...
The last 8 world series have been split 4-4... guess the DH means the AL will just dominate.....?
i don't understand the argument. i hear it all the time, trust me... all the time. but i don't understand it.
is your argument that... one league having it isn't real baseball? so you want the NL too? or just that having a DH... which is done at every level of baseball... is fake baseball?
honestly, i'm not trying to be a prick or start a gigantic fuss... just wanna know why that isn't real.
Don't get your panties in a wad. My purpose was not to start an argument. I prefer NL ball and think they will win this year. Nothing more and nothing less.so should every player in the AL stop, get out of their contract, and either... wait til they take the DH out or demand an NL contract? the players don't decide whether there is a DH or not... It's not the players fault.
The last 8 world series have been split 4-4... guess the DH means the AL will just dominate.....? Never said anything like that.
i don't understand the argument. i hear it all the time, trust me... all the time. but i don't understand it. I was unaware that I was starting an argument. Just saying I thought the NL would win.
is your argument that... one league having it isn't real baseball? so you want the NL too? or just that having a DH... which is done at every level of baseball... is fake baseball? Baseball was meant to be played with 9 fielders that also were hitters.
honestly, i'm not trying to be a prick or start a gigantic fuss... just wanna know why that isn't real.Baseball was originally played without a DH. Just a statement. Nothing was meant by it.
