I've already started to hear it. Last year Bruce Pearl was a passionate great coach. This Year he is a jerk who needs to calm down. Nothing has changed about him except the slower start to the season. I personally feel he is a great coach who doesn't get enough credit.
What's your take?

I'm pretty sure a substantial portion of this board has never used the word "great" to describe Bruce Pearl's coaching acumen.

True, but the first adjective is tough to argue against. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that we are beginning to see the limits of how far "passion" can get you.

You know what the great thing about Bruce Pearl's first team was? They knew how losing felt. They had been losers until he got there. Then, when nobody had expectations for them to succeed, they did, and learned how to win, and how to play serious ball, and suddenly, things are different. Now, we expect winning, but we gotta remember that losing is a part of winning, because you learn more in the losses than you do in the wins, and our team is learning with every loss what we have got to improve on.

With that said....we've learned enough. Get to work boys.
