Booing anytime an opposing player gets injured. It only affects me as much as I let myself care about it, but that seems like an incredibly tasteless thing to do every single time there is an injury. If the shoe were on the other foot, at least 20% (who make up for 85% of the posts in the board) of you would come on here calling for war against the opposing fan base.

Every injury, cramp, and other need for a player to go down is not the same as Ol' Sh*t-Smirkin Lane.

Agree 100%, with the exception of when we play Ole Piss again. I'll boo every dam time. Pass the mustard!

Well SEC & NCAA can’t figure out how to stop it. So teams that never did it before are starting to use it as a time out tool Josh does it after kicking extra points to give a little more rest for the D. Everybody’s doing now & TV just breaks to a commercial & counts more $$$. It is here to stay. Adjust and move ahead Ole Miss won a game doing it.

it doesn't bother me as much as it used to because it's obvious, we have been starting to do it and take advantage of it as well

they really need to change the rule that if a player goes down, they are out that possession or until the next 1st down maybe

They definitely need to fix it. There are plenty of good ideas.

The only time that I really think players faked injuries against us where Ole Miss. I think there are times where they get their wind knocked out and it looks fake but it really isn't for anyone that has gone through that. It is very painful.

The NCAA has been "exploring options" about how to stop it for years now.

Seems so simple, if you go down, you can't play again until the next series.

But nah, that's way too complicated for the NCAA I guess.
I wouldn’t like it if our star defensive or offensive player to miss an entire series bc of a stinger, cramp, rolled ankle to get taped, blood/bandaid situation, etc. that could really swing the momentum and change the outcome of any game

It happens hell we do it at times especially PATs to give the defense a rest.

Teams should get a limited number of injury timeouts. Once you go over that you incur a 5 yard penalty each time. Give them a fair number of time outs based on averages. But once you go over the limit you should incur a 5 yard penalty. That would at least make you think more before flopping. GBO

I wonder if it is a delay tactic to give the defense a few more minutes of rest before going back out on the field. The players always seem to be back out there on the next PAT

It absolutely is, and it’s smart.

I think the answer is not allowing the teams to go back to the sideline for a free time out. Only the injured player can sub until the game clock resumes.

Jimmy Hyams suggested on his Sunday Show they should review it the following day and if it’s obvious someone got shot by a sniper then that player is out for the next game. He said that will stop coaches from telling players from flopping in a hurry.

There are several simple solutions to this but in all honesty the coaches that make up the rules committee don’t really care.

I found "fake injuries" annoying until I started seeing them happen on our side.
