All Three Major Men's Programs (Top 5 in the Nation)

Football team achieved a high rank of #4 this year and obviously still in contention for a national title.
Baseball won the national title.
Basketball about to be #1 in the nation.

Was wondering today when was the last time one school had all three sports in the top 5 in the same calendar year? Or has that ever happened before?

Pretty amazing what's occurring on campus right now. I've said it before but will say it again. Leadership matters!

Florida came close in the mid 2000s. Made the championship series of the CWS in 05, win the football natty in 06, won two in basketball in 06 and 07, then won in football in 08. Baseball took a bit of a dive though after the 05 season so not quite top 5 in the same year.

In 2006 Florida won a basketball national championship and a football championship. And their baseball team was ranked in the top 5 for the first 4 weeks of the 2006 season. Thats the closest I can come up with.

And LVBB is trending there with a great recruiting class and our innovative new Coach. Plus Karen always has our softball team competing at high level. Tennis,golf, swimming, volleyball all looking good.
Danny White, Boyd, Donde make for a helluva team leading our school. Hope we can keep them.
