Also, Chad Clifton is pretty iffy.

To my mind, conference membership is not proleptic. Someone is probably going to tell me that the SEC bought the school records but somehow it doesn't seem right.
I think of Boomer Esiason as an ACC player, not a Big Ten player, although I did see a web story that claimed he was that.

Herschels biggest impact in the NFL was the Vikings gifting the Cowboys a draft haul for him that eventually became the core of their 3 Super Bowl wins in the 90s.
