I know a lot of folks are TLDR so for those go to 4 minutes
I would suggest watching the whole thing because it gives a lot of context and perspective on why the draft went how it went this year.

1. this year's WR draft had a ton of smurfs. Top 10 WR's had maybe 3 legit guys over 6 feet
2. There were literally 2 guys Ngjangba and Addison that were whole package guys and they both had some yellow flags.
3. because of that RB's got value especially gibbs.
4. Until further notice UT's offense has skeptics at the NFL level its BS but its real. THrow in the age and knee and Hendon got boned.

edit
5. I give QBs that failed in the NFL a lot more credit as scouts than ones that made it. Peyton can tell you what you need to make it in the NFL.. he has no fing idea what does not work.

None of Spurrier's quarterbacks ever did much in the NFL. It doesn't mean he wasn't a GREAT coach. I want HH to succeed, but if he doesn't it just tells me we have an even better coach than we think, who can make something out of nothing.

That's great but I was talking about quarterbacks. Nonetheless, Spurrier had a lot of wide receivers drafted too though, and he was a helluva coach.

This is what I want as well. The entire NFL can slide off the edge of the flat earth into oblivion for all I care. I'm happy for Darnell & HH etc, but I want UT to win championships period.
This idea that HH and our WRs got hosed by some mysterious anti-orange force, and that any questions @ CJHs offense are just ignorance wearing OR colored glasses. When ⅓ of your yards and TDs come without a defender within 5 yards of your receiver, then it BEGS a lot of questions. #1 How is CJH doing it (that's why the NFL is now at his door in Ktown) #2 If those big #s and awards come from a system that creates such confusion and openness, then it demands the obvious question "What will be the QBs / WRs production when everything gets "bunched back together" at the next level?

I really don't care if it stays this way. I want CJH to dominate COLLEGE FB and let the next level figure it out however it wants to.

Some people let themselves get psyched out by what opposing fanbases say. Like who cares if people keep calling our offense a "gimmick" if we keep hanging 50 on everybody. Haters gonna hate.

My bad I misunderstood. All it takes is 1 QB to do good in the NFL and it will change the outlook. I think hendon has the chance and ability to do this

If he doesn’t, Milton has all the physical tools to do so

All good points but thats assuming Hendon does not force their hand by not being such a big project and recovering faster than expected. If the above is true it puts Goff in an interesting situation.. sign an extension asap or drag it out and hope Hendon sucks and Goff shows out. The fact Hendon went in the third round actually could end up putting more pressure on him because it means they will likely be more patient with him. I get a feeling Hendon will make his presence known by this preseason. One of his biggest knocks (age) might end up being his biggest strength. the guy has been in at least 2 different systems in college already and showed tremendous growth. He is NFL ready and will prove it. Actually, RG3 pointed out he played in the same type of system in college and though RG3s career ended badly mostly because of injuries he started off well.
